Job Summary

This role requires an active technical contribution to projects centered around Kubernetes environments. The administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of Kubernetes containers and virtual machines, prioritizing stability and quality. Core responsibilities include managing deployments, providing expert customer guidance, and ensuring the seamless operation of the platform. This involves proactive fault detection, detailed error analysis, and participation in on-call duty (Rufbereitschaft) to maintain system availability. A key focus is successfully transitioning applications and services into live operation for clients, particularly those in the Public Sector and high-compliance environments. Candidates must have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT Specialist training, coupled with professional experience in DevOps. Essential technical skills include solid knowledge of Linux, practical experience with Containerd and Kubernetes, and proficiency in monitoring, networking, and firewall management. The position offers continuous professional development through the Bechtle Academy and the security of an unlimited contract.
