Job Summary

This role involves providing essential technical support within the Water and Soil Protection department of the Heilbronn District Office. The specialist will primarily focus on the technical assessment of various wastewater projects and proposals, managing grant applications related to water management and rural wastewater disposal, and offering expert consultation to engineering firms, local municipalities, and applicants on wastewater-related issues. Key responsibilities also include construction supervision, site acceptance, and conducting necessary on-site inspections. Candidates should possess a successful degree in Civil Engineering (with a water specialization), Geoecology, Environmental Technology, or a comparable field. While experienced professionals are preferred, entry-level candidates are also encouraged to apply. This is a secure, responsible, and varied part-time position (75%) offering flexible working arrangements and professional development opportunities within a dedicated public service team, though it is offered on a fixed-term contract until October 2027.
