Job Summary

This critical role involves leading the 'Accounting and IT' team within the Commercial Administration department of the Heilbronn District Administration's Waste Management division. The manager is responsible for overseeing all financial accounting operations, including the independent preparation of annual financial statements, developing the economic plan (budgeting), and calculating public fees. A key focus is continuous process improvement in the accounting function, establishing an effective controlling system, and managing the division's tax affairs. The position also requires representing the department head during absences. Candidates should hold a degree in Public Management, Business Administration, Law (LL.B.), or a comparable qualification, possess strong social competence, and ideally have initial leadership experience, along with routine familiarity with standard IT systems, with SAP experience being beneficial.
