Job Summary

This role involves driving small molecule drug discovery efforts within early pharmaceutical research for a leading global corporation. The Medicinal Chemist will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing drug design strategies, focusing on optimizing lead structures using SAR/SPR data, ADMET properties, and target selectivity. Key daily tasks include close interdisciplinary collaboration with biology, pharmacology, DMPK, and patent law teams, applying computer-aided design methods, and interpreting biological test results to advance chemical substances. The ideal candidate possesses a university degree followed by five years of advanced training as a Clinical/Medicinal Chemist or equivalent relevant professional experience. Strong skills in SAR/SPR strategy development, project management, and patent analysis are essential, along with mandatory fluent English proficiency.
