Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the quality and regulatory compliance of high-quality pharmaceutical products at a historic manufacturing site in Cologne, part of the global Opella Group. The Chemical Technician Quality Control is responsible for planning and executing comprehensive quality checks, including incoming goods inspections, in-process controls, and the sampling of raw materials. A critical component of the job is monitoring and guaranteeing strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) conformity across all production processes. You will also be tasked with creating and maintaining essential control procedures and quality-relevant documentation, as well as analyzing and documenting deviations and customer complaints. Candidates must hold completed vocational training as a Pharmaceutical or Chemical Technician, possess profound GMP knowledge, and be proficient in chemical, physical, and instrumental testing procedures. The position offers excellent conditions, including fair compensation based on the Chemical Collective Agreement (Equal Pay) and requires readiness for shift work.
