Job Summary

This role seeks a Firmware and Hardware Development Engineer to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of smart embedded systems for digital access control solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include system conception, detailed design, and implementation, alongside managing requirements and estimating effort for new embedded solutions. The engineer will oversee products from initial concept through to successful series production, requiring strong analytical skills to evaluate new technologies and conduct technical feasibility studies. Key qualifications include a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science, and multi-year professional experience developing and commissioning embedded hardware and firmware on 32-bit microcontroller systems (preferably ARM Cortex). Expertise in connectivity protocols like NFC, BLE, Thread, and Ethernet, coupled with proficiency in C++, C, and Python, is essential for success in this demanding role, which requires reliable teamwork and strong self-motivation.
