As a Senior Product Manager for Service – Battery Systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and sustainable development of service competencies for battery systems in rail vehicles. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing standardized, cross-platform maintenance strategies for battery components across various vehicle applications like multiple units and locomotives. You will define critical exchange parts and technical/economic requirements for repairs, plan comprehensive service and maintenance concepts, and oversee the establishment of a dedicated battery maintenance site, including logistics. This role involves designing offer and project handling processes, clarifying responsibilities, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. You will also implement pilot projects, manage their ramp-up, and optimize maintenance through digital solutions, while calculating strategic service offers and supporting economic project evaluations.
