Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional specializing in infrastructure support within large corporate and public sector environments. The IT Service Technician will be responsible for the physical setup and dismantling of racks, including the installation and removal of critical hardware such as servers, storage, and switches. A core function involves meticulous cabling and de-cabling of power (copper) and network lines (copper/fiber optic) according to detailed documentation. Day-to-day tasks include optical and physical layer troubleshooting for servers and cabling issues, processing tickets, and ensuring precise, timely documentation of all work, often in English. Candidates should possess a relevant IT qualification or comparable professional experience, solid hardware and networking knowledge, and be prepared to work within a 3-shift system. Strong teamwork and good English skills are essential for success in this demanding, project-based role.
