Job Summary

This role seeks a Senior Project Engineer specializing in Signaling and Control Technology (LST) to manage the realization of critical rail infrastructure projects, such as electronic interlocking systems, for DB InfraGo. The core responsibility involves comprehensive project management, ensuring quality, budget, and timely execution of construction measures according to phases 3-9 of the German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers (HOAI). The engineer will coordinate extensively with internal teams, external companies, and regulatory authorities, ensuring strict adherence to DB regulations, contract law, and official permits. Key tasks include managing change orders (amendments) during planning and construction phases while keeping a close eye on costs and schedules. This position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, coupled with at least three years of professional experience in managing complex railway infrastructure projects, including expertise in procurement and contract negotiation. Success in this role demands strong communication skills and the ability to independently steer projects to successful completion, even under pressure.

Required Skills

Education

University or Technical College Degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering, Signaling and Control Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.

Experience
