Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position as an SAP Coordinator for the City of Herne involves working within the Tax and Payment Processing Department, focusing on the municipal SAP financial accounting system. The core responsibilities include managing and controlling interfaces between preliminary processes and SAP, ensuring seamless system integration. You will take responsibility for project work, including leading (sub-)projects to implement new legal requirements in accounting and tax, developing necessary concepts, specifications, and project plans, and coordinating comprehensive system tests. Furthermore, the role requires providing First-Level Support to central and decentralized users, performing essential customizing in SAP/Kommunalmaster, and conducting technical quality assurance on system updates. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with IT affinity and strong collaboration skills, offering flexible working hours and the possibility of mobile work.

Required Skills

Education

Required: Completed Administration Training with Administrative Course II, OR Qualification for the 2nd career group of the general administrative service (1st entry level), OR Completed University/College Degree (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) in Business Informatics, Administrative Informatics, or Business Administration with an IT focus.
