Job Summary
This permanent, remote position requires a highly experienced chemist to lead the entire early-stage drug discovery process for a global pharmaceutical leader. The role focuses on developing and implementing sophisticated Structure-Activity-Relationship (SAR) and Structure-Property-Relationship (SPR) strategies. Key responsibilities include designing innovative active ingredients, optimizing lead structures, and supporting molecule design, particularly within the cardiovascular, oncology, and immunology therapeutic areas. The chemist will provide scientific leadership for projects, manage interdisciplinary teams, and integrate complex cross-functional data for strategic decision-making. This role offers the flexibility of remote work from Europe or the USA, coupled with excellent compensation and the opportunity to establish a career within a leading multinational corporation. A PhD in medicinal or organic chemistry and extensive experience in early drug development are essential.
