Job Summary

This expert role within the International Data Exchange department of the German Pension Insurance Federation focuses on implementing the European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet, a key international digitization project. The successful candidate will analyze current European digital identity developments, coordinate the development and introduction of procedures for electronic proofs, and conceptually advance underlying cryptographic methods, specifically Verifiable Credentials. Day-to-day responsibilities involve extensive application development, conducting comprehensive software tests, evaluating results, contributing to quality management processes, and providing Second Level Support for incident management. This position requires a strong background in complex application development, preferably utilizing technologies like Java EE and JCL, and proficiency with database systems such as DB2 and Oracle.
