Job Summary

The German Pension Insurance Federation (DRV Bund), a cornerstone of social security in Germany, is seeking a Team Lead for its Security Operations Center (SOC). This critical role involves leading one of five SOC teams, providing both personnel and technical guidance to ensure operational IT security across the DRV Bund’s complex and diverse IT landscape. Day-to-day tasks include actively steering services such as Cybersecurity Monitoring, Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR), Vulnerability Management, and Penetration Testing. The successful candidate will support departmental management, implement strategic guidelines, and represent the team in cross-departmental IT projects. You should possess a university degree in IT or equivalent qualification, coupled with professional experience in IT security, ideally within an SOC environment. Experience in technical leadership and personnel development is highly desirable.
