Job Summary

The German Pension Insurance Federation is seeking a DevSecOps Developer to join its Security Operations Center (SOC) in Berlin or Würzburg. This role is fundamental to maintaining and enhancing the highly complex IT security landscape. Key responsibilities include integrating various SOC systems (such as ticketing and log sources) using APIs and other interfaces, and developing robust automation solutions. The developer will also advise other teams on automation and integration requirements, continuously improve existing processes, and perform operational tasks like monitoring and maintenance of SOC systems. A crucial aspect involves supporting the introduction of new platform technologies through Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Candidates must possess a university degree or equivalent IT qualification, practical experience in IT security, and deep knowledge of scripting and software development, particularly with Bash, JavaScript, and ideally Go.
