Job Summary

This role involves leading and managing research and teaching activities within the Electrical Power Systems (eES) division at the University of Duisburg-Essen. The successful candidate will actively lead national and international research projects, including securing third-party funding from public and industrial partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and managing the division alongside the leadership, conducting independent university courses (currently 9 teaching hours), and acting as an examiner for student theses (Bachelor's, Master's, and projects). The position requires deep expertise in the system technology perspective of electrical power supply, proven experience in project acquisition and management, and a commitment to solving the technical challenges of the energy transition. Education
