Job Summary

This role is designed for a skilled Research and Development Engineer responsible for driving innovation across basic research, applied research, and product development within GF Piping Systems. You will be instrumental in improving existing products and introducing new solutions, ensuring all designs meet stringent regulatory and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks involve applying technical analysis, utilizing computer modeling skills (NX, AutoCAD, SolidWorks), conducting hands-on testing, and maintaining meticulous laboratory records for potential patenting. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management skills and the ability to interface effectively with quality control and production teams. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field (preferably mechanical, electrical, industrial, or materials)

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of research and development experience or equivalent
  • Professional experience designing products to regulatory standards and generating technical drawings
  • Experience with various mechanical and material analytical test equipment
  • Project management experience (a plus)

  • Ability to work well in a dynamic and demanding environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Must be proficient in general office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
