Job Summary
This role involves driving the digital transformation of the Offenbach city administration by focusing on process automation using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management and execution of RPA/AI projects, including project reporting and coordination. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing existing business processes, identifying optimization potential, and designing, developing, testing, and implementing scalable automation solutions. You will also support leadership in evaluating and integrating new AI and innovative technologies into existing administrative applications. Key requirements include a relevant university degree or vocational training combined with demonstrable professional experience, strong knowledge of process modeling (BPMN), RPA platforms (like UiPath or n8n), and database technologies (MS-SQL, MySQL). Required Skills
Education
University degree (FH Diploma/Bachelor) in IT, Business/Administrative Informatics, Data Science/Business Analytics, Digital Management, or comparable relevant field; OR vocational training (e.g., Digitalization Management Clerk, IT System Management Clerk, IT Specialist) combined with demonstrable professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in process automation or IT development is required if applicant holds relevant vocational training
- Experience in handling common RPA software platforms (e.g., EMMA, UiPath, n8n)
- Experience with Generative AI (GenKI)
- Experience in project and process management
