This role involves managing public relations and event planning for the Thuringian Ministry for Environment, Energy, Nature Conservation, and Forests (TMUENF). The specialist will be responsible for comprehensive content management across digital platforms, including the ministry’s website and Intranet, and supporting social media content creation. A core function is the conception and execution of high-impact public events, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. The position also includes acting as a contact person for internal publications (brochures, presentations), handling procurement procedures for the press office, and accompanying the ministry leadership to official appointments. The ideal candidate must possess a scientific university degree in relevant fields, mandatory professional experience in public administration, and expertise in visual media, photography, and graphic design, contributing to critical environmental and climate policy communications.

Completed scientific university degree (Master, Diploma (University), or Magister) in Communication Sciences and Media Studies, State Sciences, or Political Sciences

Experience

  • 1 year of professional experience in the advertised area of responsibility (Public Relations/Event Management)
  • 1 year of professional experience in a State or Federal Authority (Public Administration)
  • Professional experience in event management and handling visual media
  • Professional experience in photography, video production, and graphic design
