Job Summary

Join a newly established regional office in Thuringia as a Climate Manager for Protected Areas, focusing on the Action Program for Natural Climate Protection (ANK). This role involves analyzing habitats in Thuringia, identifying and supporting climate protection measures, and developing project proposals. You will work within a team of three other colleagues, contributing to the enhancement of habitats and strengthening their climate protection performance. Key responsibilities include developing assessment criteria for protected areas, compiling effective climate and biodiversity protection measures, and assisting project sponsors with grant applications. The ideal candidate will have a scientific university degree, professional experience in project implementation with funding programs, and advanced knowledge of species and biotope protection.
