Job Summary

This role involves the planning, development, and maintenance of advanced Conversational AI and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems within one of Germany's leading insurance groups. Day-to-day tasks include programming sophisticated voicebots, integrating Conversational AI/NLU engines, and configuring and training NLU models, including the incorporation of Large Language Models (LLMs). The engineer will also be responsible for connecting IVR systems to backend services by developing interfaces such as REST or SOAP, and strategically selecting and integrating ASR/TTS providers, focusing on major Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) like AWS, MS Azure, and GCP. Candidates must hold a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field, or possess relevant vocational training combined with significant practical experience. Fundamental knowledge and proven practical experience in developing Conversational AI/IVR systems are essential, alongside strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical field; alternatively, completed vocational training in Computer Science combined with practical professional experience.

Experience
