Job Summary

This is a highly responsible role based in Aretsried (near Augsburg), focusing on managing all tax matters for the German companies within the Theo Müller Group, a major international food and logistics conglomerate. The successful candidate will lead the Tax Projects Germany team, overseeing critical initiatives such as the tax integration and support of M&A transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing comprehensive tax advice, managing audits, handling appeals and legal proceedings, and obtaining binding rulings from tax authorities. A key strategic component of this position is actively shaping the future direction of the Tax department as the Deputy Head of Tax Germany. The role requires continuous monitoring of tax law changes across Germany and selected European countries, and the development and implementation of optimized tax processes and guidelines.
