Job Summary

This Associate Director Tax Technology role drives the digitalization and optimization of global tax processes within BioNTech, focusing on enhancing efficiency and minimizing risk across Global Tax & Customs Units. Day-to-day responsibilities involve expanding tax transformation initiatives, including implementing Tax Technology solutions like Tax Data Analytics for Transfer Pricing, VAT, and Customs, and automating tax declaration and risk management workflows. A core function is the tax-specific configuration of ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA, and leading sub-projects during the S/4 HANA rollout. Candidates must possess a degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science and at least five years of professional experience in the SAP environment and IT management. Expertise in SAP S/4HANA modules (FI/CO, MM, SD) and proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Power Platform are essential. This position offers a varied and impactful role at the critical intersection of Tax and IT, allowing the incumbent to develop automated workflows and digital solutions while collaborating directly with IT and Finance stakeholders.
