This role as an IT Service Desk Agent supports a major client within the Deutsche Telekom group, primarily working remotely with occasional team meetings in Zwickau (1-2 times monthly). The core responsibilities involve acting as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring telephone accessibility, and attempting first-level resolution based on standardized procedures. You will be responsible for opening and managing Incidents and Service Requests, escalating complex issues according to defined processes, and maintaining accuracy by checking contract data and updating various databases. To succeed, candidates must possess completed vocational training or equivalent professional experience, strong IT knowledge, and excellent customer-oriented service skills. Proficiency in MS Office and fluent German communication skills are essential, along with demonstrated competence in professional telephone conversation management.
