Job Summary

This Service Developer role is situated within the eScience group at the GWDG, a prominent IT competence center for the Max Planck Society and the University of Göttingen. The primary focus is contributing to innovative projects, such as ITsJOINTLY, which aims to create a scalable, AI-supported content management system for digital learning materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include applying generative AI, developing features utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) for tasks like metadata generation and content analysis, and integrating new partners onto the platform. The position also offers the opportunity to develop collaboration features based on decentralized social networks and the Nostr protocol. Candidates must possess a university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science), good programming skills, and experience developing and operating web services or APIs.
