Job Summary
This role is for an Engineer specializing in energy measurement for biogas and hydrogen, contributing to the future of energy automation within a leading German transmission system operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical support and project management of measurement systems for green gases, including both new installations and the adaptation of existing infrastructure. This involves overseeing calibrated energy measurement and gas composition monitoring, participating in the planning of hydrogen and biogas injection systems, and representing the company in relevant international working groups. The position offers an exciting opportunity to actively shape the future of energy measurement technology, even for recent graduates, within a supportive team environment focused on sustainable energy solutions.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Energy and Environmental Technology, or a comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in the energy industry or a strong interest in the field
- Experience in the development and maintenance of measurement systems is beneficial
- Openness to learn new data communication systems
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
