Job Summary

This pivotal role requires a Lead Electrical Engineer to manage a three-person team, ensuring the technical safety and operational availability of the compressor station in Hünxe. Day-to-day responsibilities involve strategic planning, calculation, organization, and coordination of maintenance and repair measures, alongside overseeing new construction projects from initial planning to commissioning. The engineer holds system responsibility across various disciplines, including electrical, process, and gas technology, and coordinates and manages external service providers, ensuring quality assurance and proper billing. A key development is the appointment as the Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK) after successful onboarding. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Electrical, Process, or Energy Technology, coupled with expertise in automation and electrical engineering, and demonstrated initial leadership experience. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to Germany's energy transition by preparing gas networks for green gases like hydrogen, all within a highly autonomous and supportive environment.
