Job Summary

This is a future-oriented leadership role at Thyssengas, a leading German transmission network operator pioneering the energy transition by preparing gas networks for hydrogen and green gases. The successful candidate will lead a three-person team responsible for ensuring the technical safety and availability of the compressor station located in Hünxe. Day-to-day duties involve strategic planning, calculation, organization, and coordination of maintenance and repair measures, alongside overseeing new construction projects from planning through commissioning. The role requires managing external service providers, ensuring quality assurance, and taking system responsibility across various engineering disciplines, including electrical, process, and gas technology. The ideal candidate possesses a university degree in a relevant engineering field, expertise in automation and electrical engineering, and proven initial leadership experience, coupled with an agile mindset and strong organizational skills to motivate the team toward shared goals and navigate change processes effectively.
