Job Summary

This role involves working as an Embedded Software Developer for ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GmbH, a maritime high-technology company in Bremen. Day-to-day responsibilities center on the full development lifecycle of embedded software for electronic modules. You will analyze product and component requirements to specify software and electronics concepts, develop reusable software modules, and ensure high quality through rigorous design and code analyses. Key tasks also include coordinating the development of individual software modules, integrating components into existing or new systems, and performing comprehensive system tests, validation, and verification. The position requires a degree in a relevant technical field, such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, coupled with professional experience in embedded software development. Essential technical knowledge includes familiarity with System-on-Chip (SoC) embedded systems and synchronization protocols like PTP and SyncE. Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Assembler is mandatory, alongside fluent German and good English skills.
