Job Summary
The City of Frankfurt is seeking dedicated Energy Managers to join its "Energiemanagement" department, playing a crucial role in achieving climate neutrality for municipal buildings by 2030. In this position, you will be responsible for optimizing the operation of technical building systems, conducting defect analysis, and addressing user complaints related to indoor climate. The role involves integral planning and expert consultation for new construction and renovation projects, with a focus on cross-trade building automation. You will also be involved in advising and training colleagues, maintaining energy management databases, and analyzing consumption data. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor) in Technical Building Equipment or a comparable field, OR state-certified/state-recognized technician or master in one of the aforementioned fields
Experience
- At least six years of relevant professional experience if holding a state-certified technician or master's degree in the specified fields
- Several years of professional experience in planning, commissioning, and operational optimization of complex buildings and associated systems
