This role involves serving as a Work Planner within the municipal wastewater treatment and sludge incineration facilities in Frankfurt, focusing on complex operational tasks during shift operation. Key responsibilities include scheduling diverse and challenging duties using the operational management system, initiating immediate actions during disturbances, and coordinating maintenance work carried out by both external contractors and internal personnel, ensuring strict adherence to occupational safety standards. The position requires either a relevant Bachelor's degree or a Master Craftsman qualification in environmental, process, or electrical engineering, coupled with at least one year of experience as a Master Craftsman operating wastewater treatment or incineration plants. Successful candidates will utilize strong EDV skills, including MS Office and SAP, to manage documentation, analyze operational data, and contribute to energy management. This is an essential and varied role contributing to the sustainable function of the city's infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

Relevant University Degree (Bachelor's) OR Completed relevant vocational training with a Master Craftsman qualification (e.g., FAT, UTA) or in a plant engineering profession in Environmental, Process, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • At least one year of professional experience as a Master Craftsman in the operation of wastewater treatment plants or incineration facilities
