Job Summary

The City of Frankfurt's Urban Drainage department is seeking a dedicated Personnel Specialist to manage complex HR administration for its employees and civil servants. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance and smooth operations across all personnel matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising employees and superiors on wage claims, income tax, and social security law, processing and monitoring salaries, and managing formal procedures related to hiring, transfers, terminations, promotions, and various types of leave (e.g., maternity, parental). The ideal candidate must possess a relevant university degree (Bachelor/Diplom FH) or equivalent administrative qualification, coupled with substantial professional experience in personnel management and payroll accounting. Proficiency in specialized public sector software (LOGA, PePo, AZE) and strong independent, conceptual work skills are highly valued.
