Job Summary

This role seeks an IT Service Desk Specialist to manage and resolve support requests across both hardware and software domains, operating within 1st and 2nd level support structures. Key responsibilities include monitoring the status of ongoing support tickets, overseeing internal technologies and software solutions, and ensuring proper documentation and pre-qualification of issues before escalation to specialized departments. The specialist will also handle the installation, configuration, and decommissioning of workstation systems and associated peripheral devices, while assisting in the implementation of project requirements. Candidates must possess vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or an equivalent qualification. Essential technical skills include familiarity with Microsoft Windows Client operating systems, Office products, and Microsoft Online Services, coupled with good knowledge of networking components such as switches, WLAN, and firewalls. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English are mandatory for effective customer service.
