Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Dipl.-Engineer (Master level) within the Ministry of the Interior, Building, and Sport, focusing on the planning and execution of state construction projects, particularly for the Medical Faculty of Saarland University and the University Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for project management, technical review of planning, cost estimates, and energy concepts for state buildings and operational facilities. Key responsibilities include providing conceptual advice to clients regarding Technical Building Equipment (TGA) and operational technology, issuing planning and construction contracts, and exercising technical supervision over the State Construction Authority (SHB). The ideal candidate must possess a relevant Master's degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering and demonstrable multi-year professional experience in TGA planning and execution, especially within complex, high-design projects, preferably involving existing buildings and ongoing operations. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Saarbrücken.

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in planning and execution of Technical Building Equipment (TGA) construction measures
  • Demonstrated specialist knowledge in managing technically complex and architecturally demanding large construction projects, preferably involving existing buildings and ongoing operations
  • Proven experience in Technical Equipment project leadership
  • Experience in university and/or clinic construction or comparable measures (advantageous)
  • Experience in project handling for public administration (advantageous)
  • Experience in operating complex building technical systems (advantageous)
