Job Summary

The Student Research Assistant will join the GUIDANCE clinical cohort study at the UKE Cardiology Clinic, focusing on the pharmacological management of cardiovascular risk factors, particularly lipid metabolism, in patients with coronary artery disease. Key responsibilities include supporting patient follow-up within the prevention and lipid outpatient clinic, assisting with data cleaning for the existing GUIDANCE database, and performing essential laboratory work such as the preservation and processing of biological samples. The position requires enrollment as a Human Medicine student, excellent written and spoken German proficiency, and a self-reliant, structured approach to work. This part-time, temporary role (approximately 30 hours/month) offers flexible scheduling, providing valuable practical experience in medical research and direct insight into an established clinical study within an interdisciplinary team setting.
