Job Summary

This role is for an experienced PLC Programmer and Commissioning Engineer to join an innovative engineering firm specializing in complex machinery and plant construction solutions in Stuttgart. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of automation systems, including programming custom PLC controls and setting up operating panels, interfaces, and fieldbus systems. Day-to-day tasks involve the commissioning of electrical and measurement applications, performing service, calibration, and maintenance work, and conducting independent error analysis and troubleshooting. A crucial aspect of the role is documenting revisions and providing training to production staff. Applicants must hold a degree or certified qualification in Electrical or Automation Technology, possess fundamental professional experience in PLC programming (ideally in special machinery), and be proficient with Siemens platforms like S7, WinCC, and TIA Portal. Strong communication, team spirit, fluency in German, and a minimum 30% travel readiness are essential.
