Job Summary

This Project Coordinator role involves serving as the central administrative and organizational interface for a dynamic oncology research group at the University Hospital Bonn. The successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle of third-party funding, including administrative preparation of grant applications, budget controlling, and comprehensive reporting for ongoing research projects. Day-to-day activities also encompass infrastructure management, such as internal and external correspondence (German/English), document control, and procurement of lab and office supplies. Furthermore, the coordinator will handle administrative HR processes, ranging from job posting to onboarding new team members, and organize scientific events, team meetings, and visits from guest researchers. A key responsibility is coordinating regulatory processes, particularly applications related to genetic engineering (GenTG). This position offers a high degree of responsibility and creative scope at the intersection of cutting-edge science and administration, supported by a collegial team in a leading oncology center.

Experience

  • Professional experience in science management, third-party funding administration, or project coordination (advantageous)
