Job Summary
The University Hospital Bonn is seeking an Information Security Manager to join the Information Security Staff Unit. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the institution's robust information security posture, which manages data for approximately 500,000 patients annually. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous development of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Information Security Risk Management (ISRM). Day-to-day tasks include consulting on the implementation of security standards (ISO 27001), assessing risks according to ISO 27005/31000, managing incident response, and conducting internal audits. This position requires a degree in IT or several years of relevant professional experience, strong knowledge of IT and information security standards (ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz), and the ability to work independently within interdisciplinary projects spanning medical technology and IT security. It offers a high degree of autonomy and significant scope for shaping security strategies.

Completed university degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Computer Science, IT Security, or Information Security
Experience
