Key responsibilities include ensuring the competence and maintenance of the KBS according to legal metrology standards, coordinating procedures for quality assurance recognition in measuring device manufacturing, and representing the KBS in national, European, and international committees (e.g., NoBoMet). The position requires a university degree with a doctorate in a relevant scientific or engineering field, extensive experience in legal metrology and conformity assessment of measuring devices, and strong leadership skills, decision-making ability, and a commitment to innovation.
