Job Summary

This high-impact role involves leading the strategic, technical, and operational management of the 'Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop' (CeTI) Excellence Cluster at TU Dresden. The Lead Coordinator will hold overall responsibility for the cluster's organization, finances, and personnel, ensuring optimal resource allocation, cost control, and regular reporting to stakeholders and funding bodies. Key activities include shaping the structural continuation of CeTI, defining and implementing a long-term scientific innovation strategy nationally and internationally, and coordinating third-party funding acquisition. The successful candidate will be a decisive leader with strong strategic thinking, managing and developing an interdisciplinary team while continuously analyzing and optimizing internal structures for efficiency and economic viability. Required Skills

Education

Scientific university degree (Master, Diploma, State Examination) and Doctorate (PhD) in a suitable field; Knowledge of legal aspects of research management (SächsHSG, HSDAVO, VOL/A, Procurement Guidelines) and internal administrative regulations.
