Field Service Technician, Protection Technology | Field Service Techniker (w/m/d) Schutztechnik

Job Summary

This role involves providing essential field service for low and medium voltage switchgear, primarily focusing on protection devices. The technician will independently conduct recurring protection tests, perform fault analysis, and troubleshoot malfunctions at customer sites. Day-to-day tasks include advising customers on the service portfolio, implementing parameter changes and firmware updates on protection devices, and executing necessary retrofits/conversions. A key responsibility is meticulous documentation of all service assignments, including reports and test protocols. The ideal candidate must possess a completed electro-technical education and several years of professional experience in protection technology, coupled with strong German and good English language skills, and a high degree of flexibility and willingness to travel.
