Job Summary

The Federal Agency for Real Estate (BImA) is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the technical operations and safety of facilities belonging to Supreme Federal Authorities in Berlin. This critical role involves ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, coordinating with technical specialists (e.g., electrical safety, fire protection), and managing external technical service providers for Technical Facility Management (TFM). Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing measures to ensure smooth operation of technical building equipment, optimizing systems, and developing maintenance processes. The manager will also act as the client representative for TFM construction measures, manage warranties, and oversee the economic efficiency of technical systems. A background in engineering (building, electrical, or supply technology) or technical facility management, coupled with multi-year professional experience in TFM, is essential for success in this demanding and varied public sector role.
