Job Summary

The Federal Real Estate Agency (BImA) is seeking an Operations Manager/Facility Management Engineer to join the New Construction Facility Management division in Berlin. This critical role involves managing the technical operations of properties used by Supreme Federal Authorities, including the Bundestag and Bundesrat. Key responsibilities include ensuring technical building management (TGM) for BImA service buildings, planning and executing the transfer of technical systems into operational management, and fulfilling operator and contractor duties related to Technical Building Equipment (TGA). The manager will also be responsible for organizing and ensuring occupational health and safety compliance, including creating risk assessments, and planning and implementing investment measures and construction tasks according to RBBau guidelines. Candidates must possess a technical university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Building, Electrical, or Supply Engineering, or an equivalent State-certified Technician qualification, coupled with professional experience in technical facility management and comprehensive knowledge of relevant German construction and facility standards (GEFMA, DIN, HOAI, VOB).
