Job Summary

This permanent position involves leading and managing the personnel (currently six employees) within the Climate and Ventilation Technology work area for the Federal Agency for Real Estate (BImA) in Wiesbaden. The primary responsibility is ensuring the smooth, uninterrupted operation of complex refrigeration, climate, and room air conditioning systems, while strictly adhering to all legal regulations and guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include defining work goals, planning maintenance and repair schedules, resolving faults, coordinating both internal staff and external contractors, and overseeing the procurement and monitoring of external services. Candidates must possess a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification in HVAC or Electrical Engineering and demonstrate strong organizational skills, reliability, and decision-making ability. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the management of a diverse public sector real estate portfolio and supports the government's goal of climate-neutral property management, potentially including a significant temporary specialist allowance.

Experience
