This critical role as the Lead Electrical Specialist involves overseeing the entire electrical sector for the Stuttgart Fire Department, ensuring operational readiness and legal compliance across all electrical systems and portable equipment. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and legally compliant organization of the electrical area, acting as the technical supervisor and primary contact for all electrical specialists within the department. A major focus is ensuring the proper condition, testing, and maintenance of diverse portable electrical equipment, ranging from heavy mobile cranes to standard battery chargers. You will also collaborate closely with the procurement team on technical purchases. Key requirements include holding a Master Electrician qualification, possessing practical experience as a Responsible Electrical Specialist, and demonstrating strong organizational talent.
