The IT Engineer will take responsibility for the entire process, from initial requirements analysis through to implementation, including conception, maintenance, and detailed documentation of interfaces connecting SAP ECC 6.0 with non-SAP systems. Core duties involve leading daily operations through Change and Request Management, actively participating in city-wide integrative IT projects, and providing expert consultation to internal clients on interface solutions. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in IT with initial professional experience, or equivalent qualifications derived from at least three years of relevant professional experience following an IT vocational training. Success in this role requires a strong analytical approach, high customer orientation, and fluent German skills, making this a crucial role for maintaining a stable foundation for modern public administration applications.
