Job Summary

This role is for an IT Assistant to join one of Europe's leading IT service providers, supporting major German corporations. The primary focus is on Asset Services, which includes the meticulous recording, processing, assignment, and personalization of device data. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the installation and configuration of computer systems, network components, and servers according to detailed service descriptions. The assistant will also be responsible for maintaining customer databases, installing hardware components following instructions, and diligently managing process status using internal systems like CaRAT. A critical function is identifying and escalating problems or vulnerabilities in installation routines to senior technicians or troubleshooters. Candidates must hold a completed professional IT qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, and possess good knowledge of common operating systems (primarily Windows) and basic networking fundamentals.
