This remote role focuses on managing the entire early drug discovery process for a globally leading pharmaceutical corporation. The successful candidate will drive innovation by developing and implementing Structure-Activity-Relationship (SAR) and Structure-Property-Relationship (SPR) strategies, optimizing lead structures, and supporting molecular design within medicinal chemistry. A core responsibility involves the scientific leadership of projects in key therapeutic areas, including Cardiovascular, Oncology, and Immunology. The role requires coordinating interdisciplinary project teams and integrating cross-functional data to steer strategic decision-making within the research portfolio. Key qualifications include a PhD in organic or medicinal chemistry and long-term experience in early-phase drug research and design.
