Job Summary

This role involves providing critical field service and onsite IT support across the Thuringia and Saxony regions of Germany for a leading IT service provider. The specialist will be responsible for end-to-end hardware and software support, including setting up, configuring, and introducing users to new workstations, encompassing Desktop PCs, notebooks, printers, and peripheral devices. Key daily tasks include complex troubleshooting of hardware, Microsoft Windows, and network issues directly at the customer's location, managing hardware inventory (setup, teardown, and stock control), and meticulous documentation of all support tickets. Candidates must have a completed IT qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration or IT System Salesperson, proven experience in onsite troubleshooting, and strong knowledge of standard operating systems and application deployment.
