Job Summary

This role is for an Onsite IT Support Technician (Level 2) responsible for maintaining high availability within a production environment in Wolfsburg. The core focus is the rapid restoration of software and hardware malfunctions affecting production systems. Day-to-day tasks include providing application support for specialized production software, performing detailed fault analysis and correction, and ensuring all incidents are accurately documented within the customer's ticketing system (HPSC). The technician will also be responsible for maintaining and updating comprehensive system, user, and operational documentation, and coordinating closely with the Remote Operation Center. Ideal candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification in IT System Integration or equivalent, strong expertise in current Windows operating systems, and practical knowledge of end-user devices, including PC hardware, laptops, and network components.
