Job Summary

This Process Engineer role, situated within the Continuous Improvement & Technology CCM Team at Sartorius CellGenix in Freiburg, focuses on developing, implementing, and optimizing global fermentation production processes within the Advanced Therapies Solutions (ATS) sector. The successful candidate will ensure efficiency, quality, and safety by driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing technological projects, and executing GMP-compliant technology transfers. Key tasks include creating and optimizing production protocols, developing process specifications for new GMP facilities, and generating comprehensive documentation, including qualification documents (URS/IQ/OQ/PQ/PPQ). This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and significant professional experience in a GMP/ISO 9001 environment, ideally within pharmaceutical fermentation production.
